It's so hard to believe the first day of school has arrived. The girls were excited for the this day, as was mommy - time for a schedule and some one-on-one time with my boy (and hopefully some quiet time for me during nap time)! Abby is fairly independent getting ready in the morning now... she insists on picking out her own clothes - says she doesn't like skirts or dresses anymore (makes mommy really sad) and she fixes her own hair - has been all summer (she does a fine job, too). Abby jumped right on that bus this morning, after kissing her brother and sister. Carson stood, backpacked donned, crying alligator tears while staring at her bus saying he wanted to go to school! I think he really thought he was getting on the bus too! Poor boy, 3 more years... Ashley, our little kindergartener. Oh my, afternoon kindergarten is hard to wait for. She must have asked "How much longer" about 20 times! I kept saying, "After lunch..." She colored a picture (with a rainbow of course!) and picked a few wildflowers on our bike ride this morning to bring to her teacher. She was beaming when we stood out on our driveway waiting for her bus. She told me she doesn't have any jitters! I am so proud of her :) XOXO to our girls!
