Lots of Christmas fun.

We spent Christmas Eve at Jim & Leslie's, and as always, we had a wonderful time. It was a late night, but after tucking the kids into bed at 1 a.m., Christmas morning arrived quickly!

Abby was the first to wake up. She came straight into our room, quietly crawled in bed to cuddle with daddy, and said "Can we go see if Santa came?! I heard him eating his cookies last night, and I heard tapping on the roof!" Finally, after Carson woke up, then Ashley, we were able to check out Santa's surprises! The girls loved it. Lots of squeals and smiles! The items the girls had asked for from Santa were not received, and it wasn't even mentioned! Whew! (Abby was asking for an $85 play zoo set - by Playmobil - and Ashley wanted some "girl reindeer" she saw on TV). Carson was a happy boy just watching his sisters and chewing on wrapping paper. Ahh, the glory of children on Christmas morning! Mommy was a little disappointed to receive her mandatory stay home call from work today (cuz triple pay is enticing!), but staying home all day with my sweet kiddos and hubby was the ultimate gift :)
