Happy happy birthday to our sweet little Ashley Marie!!! You are 3 years old today!!! Your favorite gift from your birthday party last night (from Grammy & Grampy) was a brand new bike with training wheels. You woke up so early today asking if you could ride it. Mommy put you back to bed and an hour later we woke up to you crying. Daddy went running for you cuz you sounded far away. You were in the garage trying to ride your bike (but got frustrated with the cars in the way)!!! You just love your bike!!!
Your black birthday party was a hit! Mommy requested that everyone wear black (or hot pink) and we had quite the turn-out! You looked darling in your black dress too. We had black plates, napkins, forks, tablecloths, balloons, and even black fondant frosting on your cake! You even received a black baby and black nail polish as gifts! Girl, you are obsessed :) You rode your new bike around and around the garage and driveway for about 2 hours too. Oh yeah, you were riding your bike in your Tinkerbell underwear as well! Mommy didn't want you to get cake on your dress and well, you just liked being naked anyway!
Miss Ashley Marie weighed 28 pounds and was 38 inches tall at the doctor's office for her 3-year check-up. Still a skinny thing and a bit on the taller side. Is it really possible for a BMI to be 5% for a 3-year-old? Sad that they even check such a thing on little ones!
Thank you to my dear friend Stacey for taking these lovely pictures of Ashley. Stacey is amazing with her photography skills; she has perfected them over the last year. We are so thankful to have these (and more) beautiful photos of our new 3-year-old!!!
