The other day Abby said "I think you're going to have a dog or maybe a turtle!" instead of a baby! Gramma Barb implanted the idea that mommy is pregnant with a dog. My 5-year-old took it literally and still questions whether I have a baby in my belly or not!

Ashley-ism & Abby-ism
We spent the last 2 evenings hanging out with our wonderful friends, Andrew & Kiley, and Melissa & Dave. It's so nice to just hang out and visit at home with all our kids! Andrew & Kiley's sweet little Makenna (6 months) was sitting on Ashley's lap and I asked Ashley if she'd like a baby like Makenna some day. Ashley's reply was, "Me want black one." WHAT? Does she know something I don't? Too funny! By the way, Ashley really seems to like the color black lately. The first color to disappear in her paints was black and she always grabs the black crayon first! Hmmmm... What happened to her favorite color purple?
