the big THREE ZERO!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME AND MY TWIN!!!
Our big 30th started with a huge SURPRISE celebration on Friday. At 3:00 a car pulled up into our driveway honking twice. I thought, "Be quiet you idiot cuz my girls are napping!" The limo guy approached the door saying "Hi I'm Sean and I'm here to pick you up" and I sheepishly said "I think you're at the wrong house." Then, my hot hubby jumped out of the limo with a huge smile saying "Happy Birthday! Get your shoes on and let's go!" Hmmmm, what about the kids? Then, Seth said, "And, I even brought the baby-sitter!" Out jumped Melissa! Ahhhhh, I was shocked!!!!! In the limo, Seth and I enjoyed a very nice bottle of Dom Perignon champagne (wow!) on the way to Stillwater. We walked around a little, ate at the Freighthouse, and then started to head home (thinking we were going to Andrew's 30th birthday party), but then... the limo broke down! Oops, not part of the surprise plans :) We waited about 30 minutes, then headed to Farmington in a Town Car. At home, I got out of the car (still thinking I have to get us ready to go to Andrew's) and the garage door opened and I saw lots of feet, legs, and heard a huge "SURPRISE!!!" Ahhhhh!!!! It was a surprise for me AGAIN!!! There were so many people in my garage, including my cutie pies, Abby and Ashley! It was awesome! Then, about 10 minutes later my twin showed up with his girlfriend Laura and we opened the garage and yelled "SURPRISE" one more time! I couldn't believe it... I had NO clue any of this was going to happen.

Our surprise birthday party is only a memory now, but an unbelievably fun one for sure! I had the time of my life! About midnight I decided to pull out my sister's boa (ready for her to use the next night at her Bachelorette party) and well, the boa and I had a great time dancing the night away with all my friends! I even danced with Dave's Harley (I think he even started it up for me)! Oh yeah, my hubby (and Darin) lit a spectacular fireworks show for Joey and I too! Oooooohhhhh... it was the best party ever!

Thank you everyone! I especially thank two special people that made this whole surprise afternoon/night happen: my awesome husband for creating the two surprises for me (and one for my twin brother) and Melissa who purchased all the party supplies and food and then put the entire garage together. You two are so wonderful. Thank you to Stacey, Laura, and Dave too who helped care for Abby and Ashley before we arrived home in the limo (well, the Town Car). Thank you thank you thank you!!!! Turning 30 is great!
